Welcome to Onyx Moto Labs LLC (“the Lab,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking a Service Block through our website (onyxmoto.org) or any associated platform, you (“the Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a precision service environment and clear communication for every mobile deployment.
Onyx Moto Labs operates as a fully mobile maintenance facility. Every booking requires a $65.00 Non-Refundable Service Call-Out Fee, collected as a deposit at the time of scheduling.
Purpose: This fee covers the deployment of the Mobile Lab to your location, fuel costs, and the initial diagnostic assessment.
Non-Refundable Status: This fee is earned upon the Technician’s arrival at the service site. It is not refundable under any circumstances except where Onyx Moto Labs cancels the appointment due to internal logistical issues.
Labor Estimates: Prices listed on our booking portal are estimates for Labor Only unless otherwise specified.
Parts & Consumables: Oil, filters, brake pads, fluids, and other hardware are billed as separate line items on the final invoice.
Final Billing: Upon completion of the service, a final itemized invoice will be issued via Zoho Books. Payment is due immediately upon receipt. We accept all major credit cards and digital payments via our secure Stripe gateway.
Because our schedule is precision-managed to accommodate travel times and logistics:
The 24-Hour Rule: You may reschedule or cancel your Service Block up to 24 hours prior to the start time without additional penalty.
Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment result in the total forfeiture of the $65.00 Service Call-Out Fee.
No-Shows: If the Technician arrives at the site and the motorcycle or Client is not accessible within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, the appointment is considered a No-Show and the deposit is forfeited.
To ensure the safety of the Technician and the integrity of your motorcycle:
Surface: Service must be performed on a level, solid surface (concrete or asphalt). We cannot perform maintenance on dirt, gravel, grass, or significantly sloped inclines.
HOA/Landlord Compliance: It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure that mobile vehicle maintenance is permitted at the service location. Onyx Moto Labs is not liable for fines or interventions from HOAs, landlords, or local authorities.
Access: The Client must ensure there is at least 4 feet of clear workspace around the motorcycle.
In accordance with C.R.S. Title 42, Article 9:
Estimates: Clients are entitled to a written estimate. By booking online, you acknowledge the estimated labor total provided. We will not exceed this estimate by more than 10% or $25 (whichever is less) without your explicit consent.
Replaced Parts: You have the right to the return of any replaced parts. Unless you request otherwise at the time of service, all waste fluids and used filters will be taken by the Lab for specialized environmental disposal.
Technician-Sourced Parts: We provide a 90-day warranty on labor for all parts sourced and installed by Onyx Moto Labs.
Customer-Supplied Parts: We may, at our discretion, install parts provided by the Client. However, Onyx Moto Labs provides zero warranty on the fitment, performance, or failure of customer-supplied parts. Any labor required to fix issues arising from faulty customer-supplied parts will be billed at our standard hourly rate.
Exclusions: Our warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, track use, racing, or damage caused by accidents or subsequent modifications by third parties.
Onyx Moto Labs utilizes professional-grade environmental containment systems (spill mats and absorbent pads) to ensure your property remains spotless.
Pre-Existing Conditions: We are not responsible for pre-existing oil stains or driveway damage.
Incidental Contact: While we take every precaution, the Client acknowledges that motorcycle maintenance involves pressurized fluids and heavy components. The Lab is not liable for minor incidental markings on the service surface that occur during the normal course of repair.
Scope of Work: Our services are limited to the specific maintenance tasks booked. We are not liable for the failure of unrelated components.
Right to Refuse: We reserve the right to decline service if the motorcycle is found to be in an unsafe condition, or if the motorcycle was manufactured prior to 2000 and possesses brittle components (plastic/wiring) that pose an undue risk during repair.
Maximum Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by Colorado law, the total liability of Onyx Moto Labs LLC for any claim arising out of our service shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for that specific Service Block.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Adams County, Colorado.
